Here are some shots from the pre-wedding photo session we did with a lovely couple John and Joanne, in Tokyo recently. It was a super nice day, thankfully, and we had a great time exploring the classy Marunouchi Side of Tokyo Station, as well as dropping into Kitanomaru Park, opposite the Imperial Palace. Recently the awesome people at www.simplybridal.com reached out to me to do some collaborative work. Amazingly, they sent me a brand new wedding dress to play around with and do some photoshoots with, which automatically makes them really cool people. Check out their site if you are looking for non-Japanese style (read: insanely expensive Disney dresses), decently-priced dresses or veils, they are super helpful and have a lot of cool stuff to check out.

Here’s a short video we shot with the dress, in conjunction with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera, a really cool piece of kit which I’ve had the chance to try out recently. Everything worked out amazingly well, and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. I’ll be doing a few more shoots with this dress down the line (once I have a free moment!), so please keep an eye out for that!

Last month we had the pleasure of photographing Mitzi and Yone’s Japanese style wedding way out in the countryside of Chiba. It was a small wedding and in a great rural location in Yone’s hometown just as the cherry blossoms were blooming. Here are a few selects from the day for you guys to see just how nice of a day it was.

Another preview post! Sorry guys I’ll get around to posting the actual photos soon. We’ve been the busiest we’ve ever been this Spring – and would have been even busier if the weather this April hadn’t been awful. Anyway this is just a behind the scenes shot from Pete and Eri’s prewedding photo shoot in front of Tokyo Station, with Keiichi booming out the umbrella like a boss. This photoshoot went really well so I’m looking forward to sharing the results with you! Promise you’ll be at least slightly impressed ;)
