2. How many people come on a photo shoot?

Depending on what you are looking for, there can be anywhere from 2 to 4 people on the shoot.

3. What are the locations that I can do photoshooting at?

Tokyo is a vast city with amazing locations for photoshooting – and that’s not counting the areas outside of Tokyo such as Yokohama, Kamakura, etc. There is a great variety of temples, parks, urban landscapes, romantic spots to do photoshoots. Popular locations include:

– Ueno Park and Ameyokocho
– Shiba Park, Tokyo Tower and Zojoji Temple
– Shinjuku, Golden Gai, Hanazono Shrine
– Odaiba – Tokyo Station
– Yoyogi Park and Harajuku
– Shibuya scramble crossing
– Chidorigafuchi (especially for cherry blossoms)
The list goes on and on! We put together a special itinerary based on where you are staying, your particular requests, and how much time we have, so let us know what you have in mind! Please note however, that there are some areas out of bounds for photography unless proper authorisation is applied for – for example, Shinjuku Gyoen is particularly strict against professional photography unless you have a permit. If you wish to be photographed in such places then you must let us know in advance, and an extra charge will be added for applying for the permit. The list so far of banned places includes:

– Hamarikyu Park
– Shinjuku Gyoen
– Maruyama Park
– Imperial Palace Grounds
– Meiji Shrine

4. Do you handle rental of kimonos, tuxes and wedding dresses?

Kimonos – yes. Tuxedoes – no. Wedding dresses – no.

The reason why we do not handle wedding dress and tuxedo rental is due to fitting be difficult and time consuming for clients who fly from overseas. We recommend renting a dress in your own country and bringing it over – that way you are guaranteed to have the dress you want, and you won’t have the stress of trying to find one that fits in Tokyo.

For kimono rentals, please feel free to contact us!

5. What languages do you speak?

We all speak English and Japanese fluently.

6. Do you make albums?

Yes we do! Each one is custom designed and comes with a case for storage. Prices for albums vary a lot depending on the size / no. of pages you want, so please feel free to let us know if you are interested in ordering one!
